Humidor in cherry

Customer wanted a humidor in cherry, Spanish cedar lined with a removable tray, Veritas stop hinges, 3 coats of ARS satin, thanks for looking, on to the next thing

Once again some real nice work Dave.  I like the sapwood on the front edge.  Is there some kind of devise to create humidity at the proper level?

Thanks ,Yeah @Chetthere are small devices that you place inside that keep the stogies at 70 percent humidity, here’s a shot of the grain, should be real nice in a couple of months

Already have, just picking on Dave, The one I made was Cherry and Curly Maple.

Beautiful work dave. The continuous grain looks really good. I've tried that a few times and always mess it up somehow. I love the incorporation of sap wood with the cherry.

Thanks Drew, but in all honesty the continuous grain is only on 3 corners, my small bandsaw has nowhere near the capacity to do 4 sides, the customer is very happy and most people will never notice the continuous grain anyway

Yes i did notice that but the 2 corners that matter were nailed.

Awesome work; the joinery is excellent ! I have to admit that it’s a lot harder for me to craft a small build than a large one. Keep up the good work
