Bulldog
I was driving the other day when my buddy suddenly yelled out "Ash!". I turn back around and saw one of the biggest ash I've seen (Louisiana). Let's see if they'll give it to us?

Ronn W
Great find. I won't make any jokes about your ash. Wish I had the room to store larger quantities.
Gixxerjoe04
I've got a decent size dead ash tree in my yard, along with like 10 small dead ones. Damn bug killing them all, can look through the woods and see tons of dead ones everywhere. Gonna mill the one in my yard when I get time to cut it down, the rest will be bowls and firewood. BeautysBeast
My father in law has two HUGE ash trees in the front yard. Both have bugs in them. He is planning on cutting them both down and has promised me the trunks. Off to the mill they go.

Barron
You can always check out "The Man Who Made Things From Trees" by Robert Penn.. An Englisman searches for the right ash tree, cuts it down, then tries to see how many useful things can be made from the tree. The name is a little misleading since most of the objects are made by other people, but still a fun read.

Brendon_t
That'll definitely make you a lot of dimensional lumber. Ash has some beatiful pink color when cut. What's the plan for drying? I stack dried mine outside for about 9m and it was totally dry.

Yeah, but you're in a place where the only moisture is in a milk carton!
BeautysBeast
Southern California has the most beautiful weather, and people on the face of the earth. Only place that even compares is South Beach in Florida.

Byrdie
One definitely must be careful where they are and who they're with when they yell, "Big ash!"
