Coop
That's going to be one heck of a cuff link holder. Looking good!

Brendon_t
Made some serious bacon today. I after finish sanding with 220 then 340 by hand as to not burn through any vaneer, I got two coats of enduro var down last night then two coats this morning. The 100* heat helped a lot with quick and easy drying. I sanded with 400 between coats and am pretty happy with the finish builds although it did use quite a bit more product than I expected. After removing the quarter round from behind, I enlisted my old mans help in getting it in the office. This thing is pretty darn heavy already. I keep the blinds open all day in here. This is just 3 o'clock light coming through the window. It's a bit more orange than I hoped but my testers left out in the sun brought on a pretty color in just a day or two. Next will be setting the top on' final setting of the top face frames, and attaching the side skirts after scribing them to the potato Chip track home walls. wdwerker
Looking very good ! Should color up nicely if you leave the shades up.
Brendon_t
Thanks Steve. There is still a Long way to go but getting this thing out of the shop will give me a lot more space to work and help my head space as being so cramped drives me bonkers. JosephThomas
Nice job. Any reason to not put it out in the sun for a couple hours if that's what you want? Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
Brendon_t
I could but would rather the entire thing darken up together. I've got time and the window sits right in front of it. It's also super heavy so I move it as little as possible.
SeventyFix
88 degrees Fahrenheit? That sounds great. It will be rarely under 98 degrees in my garage for the next couple of months. The worst is when a drop of sweat falls from the nose, onto the SawStop table saw. I have to be very careful of that lest I risk tripping the brake. I'm using this time to get as many interior jobs done as possible. I sympathize on the heat issue!

Popular Post Brendon_t
I'll be the first to admit that I'm not doing a great job with the step my step via photos on this one. With the heat, I'm only working a few hours a week so I don't ever really get into the groove. So far this week and this morning, I have mounted the top to the base cabinet, attached the final face frames and am actually ready to scribe the two side frames to the wall. I'm going to attempt that feat after the sun goes down and it hopefully drops out of the 90's

Popular Post Brendon_t
Side frames and top moulding transition piece installed. Since doors and drawers are next, I figured I could at least get my suits our of the upstairs closet and hanging. Coop
Will you be doing anything with the space on top? have you thought about using glass for the door panels? boards finished except for the finish. Haven't made it to Rockler's yet for theGF stuff.

At $80 per side, it just wasn't worth it to me.
Coop
If that were my wardrobe, it would be one suit and multiple shirts?
Brendon_t
Haha, yeah i will tell you. Brokers have two suits. Black and blue; two shirts, blue and blue with a white cuff and collar . I wear a lot of purple and it throws people off.
