Popular Post Llama
Sorry for the Disney fans in the audience... I had to make one door, so I needed a router table... Having sold most of my stuff, I am slowly replacing stuff. I decided to just make this to get me by. Worked fine. I did have one of those Ridgid outfeed stands underneath it when in use.

Immortan D
Well done. My first router table was pretty much like that, a DW 611 screwed to a piece of MDF, using the fixed base.
AceHoleInOne
Nothing wrong with that! -Ace-
MisterDrow
Yup. Done the same thing myself. Screwed to a piece of MDF and clamped on a fence. Works perfectly for the basics. Eventually I'll build an actual router table but this works for now.
wdwerker
I built something like that long before you could buy a large nice router table. I have cobbled one together on jobsites so many times. Its amazing what you can do in a clients driveway when time is crucial .

I moved to Colorado, and didn't want to deal with the hassle of moving a shop. Also, it was time for an upgrade in some key areas.. Just a good time to do it. Upgrades are still coming, as we can see from my brilliant router table.
