wdwerker
I cooked a goose once. The roasting pan almost overflowed with the fat dripping off that bird. It was tasty but I prefer duck.

This is easy to fix Frank... don't run. But having said that, my wife and I had some go after us while we were on our bikes.

wdwerker
I have encountered a few flocks of resident Canada geese near office park retention ponds .They stay here year round. If they have a nest or chicks steer clear of them. They can be dam mean and aggressive.
Tpt life
I have never been bothered by goose harassment. Swan harassment gives me pause.

Geese have a long neck for a reason, grab it and ring it. It may be difficult for the first hour or so but, endurance will prevail.

For fun, I like to call them Canadian Geese in the presence of other pedants (like you or me). I know one woman who just gets bent right out of shape with that one. Cheeset202
Canadian bacon is ham, I was born and raised in Canada, never heard of Canadian Bacon until I moved to the US! If you go to Canada and order bacon you will get good old fat streaked bacon! Not sure what you would get if you ordered Canadian bacon. Midlife, welcome to the forum!

True. It's from a different cut than american bacon. It's more like ham. And it's delicious.
