BillyJack Posted November 19, 2023 Report Posted November 19, 2023 This is why I believe it’s just cheaper to replace the whole thing in a couple years while you can still get a good price and go keep fresh batteries Quote

Chestnut Posted December 13, 2023 Report Posted December 13, 2023 I almost grabbed some of these clamps but i have a pretty good collection of the old masterforce 12" clamps. They saddly discontinued them. They were awesome with a 6" throat and were $10 each regular price. These also clash with all my jorgensen orange clamps. Stellar deal though. 1 Quote

I’m hoping they’ll drop the price again and then I’ll grab them. 1 Quote
Chestnut Posted January 2, 2024 Report Posted January 2, 2024 There must be a ton of those sitting around. It's a really good router, i use the one i bought pretty frequently, it works really well as a leg vise mini router table. Quote

I agree it was my go to for many years although I switched to Makita cordless trim routers for most tasks a year or two ago. Quote

Coop Posted January 6, 2024 Report Posted January 6, 2024 Ron, thanks for thinking of me. I looked at their website and it doesn’t mention them. I called our two Houston stores and neither carry the Jet clamps. The manager at one said they were franchise and pushed the Bessey clamps. I did manage to snag 4ea. of the 24” for Christmas though! Thanks again! Quote
Von Posted January 12, 2024 Report Posted January 12, 2024 $29 each at my local Lowes, down from $45. At least I assume it's a deal, first parallel clamps I bought. Gotta figure out what all the fuss is about :-) 2 Quote

The first versions they made has tiny acme screws but those look much beefier more like the American company versions. 1 Quote

Popular Post JohnG Posted March 27, 2024 Author Popular Post Report Posted March 27, 2024 Was grabbing a link for a friend and noticed that the Harvey C14 bandsaw is $1,499 right now. It's been a bit since I was tracking the price on this model, but I don't recall seeing it that low in quite a while. https://www.harveywoodworking.com/products/ambassador-c14-3hp-14-band-saw?variant=31871280808051 4 Quote

Popular Post Mark J Posted June 29, 2024 Popular Post Report Posted June 29, 2024 Woodcraft has SawStop table saws on sale. $200 to $500 off depending on the model. This is the first time I've ever seen a discount on the actual saw's price, rather than offering free accessories. July 1 to Sept 2, 2024. 5 Quote

I'd buy one and try it before going in big on them. Quote
JohnG Posted June 30, 2024 Author Report Posted June 30, 2024 I’ve had good luck with the Milwaukee impact rated driver bits, but I do swap out bits more frequently than most probably do, usually from losing them or leaving them at different project locations. Quote
Tom King Posted June 30, 2024 Report Posted June 30, 2024 I didn't like them because they were too loose in screw heads, whether Torx or Phillips, to the point that they were really aggravating. Longevity was no issue because I just tossed them. Thinking back on that, it was in 2014, so they may have improved them now. Quote
legenddc Posted June 30, 2024 Report Posted June 30, 2024 Milwaukee m12 fuel set on sale for $159. Same seller has the M12 installation driver on sale too. If memory serves correct the bare tool recon was $99 and the full kit with batteries is $159 Quote
Popular Post Jfitz Posted July 24, 2024 Popular Post Report Posted July 24, 2024 Got an email from Woodcraft that they are having a sale on Forrest Woodworker II 40T table saw blades for $159 ($40 off). I checked their website and the #1 grind (flat bottom) is also on sale. 5 Quote
legenddc Posted July 26, 2024 Report Posted July 26, 2024 Rockler had a bunch of stuff on clearance and an additional 40% off. I picked up some IsoTunes headphones for $20, some casters and a shelf pin jig. 2 Quote
Popular Post Jfitz Posted August 30, 2024 Popular Post Report Posted August 30, 2024 If you're in the market for a smaller / trim router ... Woodcraft is having a special on the Dewalt 20V MAX XR Brushless Cordless Compact Router (DCW600) for $219, including a 5AH battery. Not so great for just the tool, but throwing in that battery IMO made it worth getting. I've been considering this format router for a while, but cordless is a nice extra. Since I already have a few dewalt cordless tools (some drills and impact drivers), I decided to get this so I could also use the 5Ah battery across them. Add in the cordless router part and it seemed like a nice purchase. I used it the first time last night to route the rabbet in the back of a cabinet I made for the shop. Was nice not to have to deal with a power cord, it seems a nice size - not tiny, but not too bulky - and even with a 2Ah battery it made quick work of the rabbet. 5 Quote
