Winter sure came back with a vengeance for us yesterday. -27C and blizzard conditions with visibility down to zero at times. Yuck!

We got the lighter end of the same storm. The rain and snow made for road conditions on par with black ice.

I was halfway up a cloverleaf when a car at the top of the ramp got stuck, forcing traffic to stop. I couldn't get any forward momentum going uphill, and completely blocked the on ramp on an exchange of 2 of our busiest highways, for 4 hours. In a semi.

Hundreds of cars backed up, thanks to little old me. Stressful to say the least.

Ended up being a 19.5 hour work day. Worst day of work I've had in years. And of course, this happened less than 5 minutes from my destination.

What an ordeal.  I hope you at least you got to take the next day off after that.

So how did you get your rig moving again?

We're supposed to go from 70s tomorrow to a high of 32 on Monday.

We’re not too far behind.

We almost never have a wind from the SE.  Today it was blowing 12 gusting to 24 from the SE all day, and still tonight the exact same.

If it was from the SW, we’d take credit for sending you warmer weather but since was from the SE, perhaps credit goes to Floridians or maybe even the folks from Cuba?

Our high temp today was 77F, and the local forecast is calling for a low of 18F before sunrise.
