wtnhighlander
Since T. Cancelleri is obviously a pseudonym for "The Flash", lets hope those phoenix tails don't actually have to rise from the ashes of a fire started by the friction from Tom's hypersonic hand saw....
Tom Cancelleri
I was thinking of maybe doing 1 large tall instead of 2 smaller tail. Sent from my 831C using Tapatalk

Tom Cancelleri
Got home, checked my bench, forgot I left my brayer on a paper towel with glue on it. Just spent 10 minutes soaking and cleaning it.
Eric.
I'm pretty sure that was a rare example of the SST, or single snaggle tooth. That's a #1 grind snaggle tooth - G1ST. Also known in parts of the world as a flat-top snaggle tooth - FTST.

wtnhighlander
Brayer is that roller doo-hickey used to spread ink or glue, right?

Tom Cancelleri
40 minutes into the tails Now to chisel until I'm dehydrated. 65 degrees in the shop, and I might not need to apply finish to the bench as my sweat might suffice. Tom Cancelleri
Tails have been done for about 30 minutes. Cut the end cap to length, gotta mark the end cap and work on the pins. If I get the pins done today I might make some dogs. Though this is quite the fiasco. I did cut my finger while holding the chisel, not from the edge, but from the sides where it relieves to go to the socket. Blood and sweat have literally gone into the bench. Tom Cancelleri
It's go time! Bought my third pattern bit. Needed a short cutting length one to get these started. I don't know how I ever got by without a router plane. It's my favorite tool in the shop.

RichardA
It's hard to find a project that I don't use my Stanley #71, It'll clean up most anything except spilled pasta.

Tom Cancelleri
It's all glued up, and sitting in clamps. Tomorrow I complete the tail vise install. Route the rail slots, plus my new Veritas planes get here tomorrow, so I'll be able to play with those for some things, like the dogs. Brendon_t
I think we need to clock this for the fastest bench build award.. Tom, while you've gotten this far on your bench, I've, um, cleaned the shop up some and re waxed a cutting board.
