Nice haul !  Nothing is native to Southern California , it's a damn dessert ! But they do grow groves of English walnut around there someplace.

I heard cactus turns best wet.

Brendon if I leave first thing in the morning, I could be to your place by 1 or so ,would that be to late to have you help me load some of that in my truck?

Not at all,  I'll be at a work thing until about midnight. Meet you there.

Not bad for a case of beer.

It fluctuates a lot, but 9.15 is still cheaper than I can get it here in upstate NY on most days, and we have tons of walnut trees around.

Its well known I like all cletuswood species but Juglans Cletus is by far the best.  Congrats!

Cletus wood especialle.. this stuff is WET.

Got a bit of it stacked, I'm going to go back after everything is cut and remove the bark edges but for now,  I just wanted to get them layed out and strapped down.

Hate to make you break that stack down again but I'd replace any of those non-walnut stickers with walnut stickers.  We were just talking the other day about sticker stain and how much it sucks.  Not worth the risk IMO.  Nice haul.  You're lucky you live in the desert and you'll actually be able to use that stuff in this lifetime.  If I had a stack in my backyard it would be termite-infested and I'd be bent over and shriveled by the time it was dry enough to work.
