dwacker
No not dead. Not woodworking anymore though. Ive moved my home shop to the the main shop. The kids have brought in a shop of full of semi automated Martin and euro machines. My little shop now sits in a divided section of the main shop so that I can use if ever I wanted. Cars are now parked in the home shop. I haven't touched a piece of wood in months. My office door hasn't been unlocked for 6 months and I spend the day being the daycare for my grand kids when we are not traveling. Don't have a bunch in common anymore so haven been around. Not much in common with my shop either, haven't even bothered to learn how to turn on the machinery. Just a check writer now days. Really haven't been there in months. Now that we are home for the winter I will make the time to post here and there. Hope all is well

ridnharley
The Grandkids keep me out of my shop for sure. I relish the time I get to spend in there. They also keep me busy when I'm not in the shop. Me "Where's the cat?" My 2 yr. old Grand Daughter " Oh, Titty Tat, where are you!" Priceless... ChetlovesMer
Good to hear from you, PB. Funniest story ever told on the forum was when you talked about sucking your teeth into the dust collector.

Good to see your still here. Ya the Martin stuff is nice but I really have no desire to learn. My section will have the partition walls up by the end of the week and the electrician will be out next week to get it all hooked up. Gives me a nice place to have some fun with the grand kids. I'll just stick with my Powermatic toys.
G S Haydon
Ha! Rub it in, Powermatic or Martin? Decisions, decisions! I'm sure the kids will love it.

Nick2cd
I've been wondering about PB for quite a while. I'd occasionally scour the boards to see if there was any activity from him. It made my day to see you around and well, Don. I'm sure I'm not alone in stating that the absence of your thoughts and advice were nearly palpable. Hope to hear more from you! Take care and enjoy your grandkids.
