Popular Post bleedinblue
I completed this in October, but seeing as how I am new here I thought I'd throw up my latest big project. It's Wood Magazine's 3-1 design and will convert to a toddler bed then a full size bed when appropriate. This is by far my most satisfying and most challenging build to date. I learned a lot, this project had many "firsts" for me. It was even the first time I'd ever worked and milled rough lumber. This image has been resized. Click this bar to view the full image. ..Kev
Wonderful job especially considering that you milled the rough lumber for the first time! I'm sure it will last many years! You should be proud!

bleedinblue
Thanks guys! The finish is just several coats of Arm-R-Seal. The top arch is a bent lamination.

ColinF
Beautiful work! I contemplated making one when I found out the wife was expecting, but I figured I should buy one so they kid could use it before he was 8!
trialbyfire
I'm working on that same crib right now. Only I took the back arch out because I didn't have the balls to try another something new as the matching dresser was my first real woodworking project. Love the way yours turned out. I never actually saw it in the magazine, I bought the plans from Rockler and they credit WM. Been away for a bit, we had the crib's owner and have been quite busy...errrr, exhausted.
