Popular Post treeslayer
hey fellow woodworkers, here's a couple pictures of the latest table i made. walnut with cherry inlay, all M&T in this pie shape to fit between the main resting spot for me and the wife. the curved rails were cut from solid walnut, cut a pattern out of baltic birch, bandsaw, then over to the router table and a combination of bottom and top bearing bits to get the final profile. hand tools for the tenons, router table for the mortice work, four coats of ARS to finish. as usual, comments, questions and criticism are always welcome. thanks for looking

Coop
Great looking table Dave. Nice tight joints on the angled stretchers/rails ( never can remember what to call them). I bet there were numbers at each joint to keep them organized. The only down side I can see, if it were in my house, my wife would keep knocking my beer over being so close? wtnhighlander
Very nice, Dave! I can appreciate what a challenge all those angles and curves must have been. The wood combo is great, and it looks terrific between the chairs! Are those Morris chairs???
treeslayer
yep, morris chairs ross, recliners. bought not made by me. took a whole ration of @#$% from my friends for not making them myself, but i got lazy and did not want to buy the mechanism and the pads ect, they are great for after woodworking naps

anodyne
Great looking table. Really like the curves. I've got a very similar wedge space between a couch and chair that I've been contemplating something similar for. Well done!
