Mark J Posted January 3 Report Posted January 3 How often do you folks have your dryer vent/duct cleaned out? The lint trap gets cleaned with every load, but how often for the duct? 1 Quote
Popular Post wtnhighlander Posted January 3 Popular Post Report Posted January 3 Mine gets cleaned when I replace the dryer, which is happening more frequently with every passing year. Planned obsolescence is getting entirely out of hand... 3 Quote

When i was a youngster, buying a major appliance was a big deal, because it was going to be there for decades. Now it seems like every year we're replacing a washer, dryer, fridge, etc. 3 Quote

That's where the lint seems to collect. 2 Quote

I can't remember if critters actually came in or we were just worried they would. 2 Quote
Popular Post wtnhighlander Posted January 4 Popular Post Report Posted January 4 My FIL found a snake tangled in the dryer fan once. Called MIL over to see, complaining that she didn't check pockets before washing. I think she actually levitated out from behind that dryer upon seeing what was there. Never suspected she could jump so high or move so fast ... 1 2 Quote

Popular Post Coop Posted January 5 Popular Post Report Posted January 5 I’m going thru some old woodworking mags that have collected dust and deciding which to keep and which to pass on to a couple of new comer woodworking friends. I found an interview with Marc Spagnuolo in a 3-28-17 of Woodcraft Mag that is pretty cool. 5 Quote

Our line outside the house flips open so it's easy to pull any lint off and check down that branch. 2 Quote
