Popular Post Gixxerjoe04
With my baby projects done and him here, haven't had time for any other big projects I have planned, so just been doing some small stuff in what little free time I've had. Most of them turnings since I bought a new lathe a couple months ago. I did finally finish my first end grain cutting board since I bought a drum sander, had the first glue up of the board done over a year ago but I was an idiot and it was wider than my planer haha. These two acrylic pens were the only thing made for someone in Alaska, everything else will either hopefully be sold at some craft shows or giving away at Christmas.

Turning is a lot of fun, and nice being able to start and finish a project in no time, the bad thing about turning is all the stuff you need to go along with the lathe to be able to do anything you want. Can easily spend a lot more on accessories and tools than on the lathe itself, unless you buy a powermatic or something realllll nice haha
