Popular Post wouldwurker
Started throwing together the parallel clamp rack a la Marc's blog from a few years ago. Like all builds that were supposed to take four hours I've turned it into a multi-day project by deciding to edge band and steam bend. You know..,because I'm evidently a crazy person Here's a speed lapse video of steam bending the edge banding. https://instagram.com/p/BNfvY5PDHhd/ First try at steam bending ...not too shabby

wdwerker
Interesting method to bend homemade edgebanding. Quite ingenious my friend ! We need to see it full of clamps .
AstroDave
Beautiful rack! But yes perhaps grounds for commitment to the asylum With regard to the design I have been rethinking my clamp racks to make the clamps stack in front of each other to same wall space. Kinda like this... Certainly not as attractive... Or this... http://fixthisbuildthat.com/woodworking-parallel-clamp-rack-storage-plans/
PlaneOleWoodWorker
Looks great! Is that design also usuable for pipe clamps or f-style? I have a hand full of parallel clamps but a lot of the latter.

wouldwurker
This about wraps up the assembly. https://vimeo.com/194429469 I'll hit it with some satin rattlecan lacquer. Stays pretty white that way. Don't need any more yellow in the shop.
Ronn W
My clamp rack is similar in concept but not so fancy. Works weel for parallel jaws and F style. I like it.
Popular Post wouldwurker
Some may call this a bit ostentatious for wall storage. And I'd agree with them.
drzaius
You need some small spot lights on the floor to provide accent lighting for that. Beautiful grain matching.
wdwerker
Who can resist overdoing something just to show you can? Now your gonna have to polish your clamps so they gleam in those spotlights !
TerryMcK
Keep all the glue off those clamps too as that will spoil the effect.
gee-dub
Sexy. Some day I will redo all my shop fixtures and give them a bit more love. I think showing your skills in your shop fixtures is worthy of the effort and I wish I would have started doing that earlier. My limited wall space requires something more like what SplineteredDave is after.

wouldwurker
Done! Link to video below - French cleated, mounted, and filled up with clamps. https://vimeo.com/194721441
Al Capwn
9/10 - No french polish. J/K, looks great and neat video too! I am in desperate need to create some dedicated clamp storage, but I am finding wallspace...and floorspace...and...well, any space is becoming a premium for the really long clamps. Elroy Skimms
Nice ending on the video. As Stumpy Nubs says, "Sit back and have a cold one. Because you've earned it my friend." -E
