rodger.
very sad - sorry for your loss shaney. my pug is 14, and he is approaching the end we think. it breaks my heart, but the only real negative to having a dog is that their lifespan is so much shorter than ours.

Sent from my SM-N910W8 using Tapatalk So sorry. Let us know what the expenses were. I'd like to help a little. In the 37 years here, we've ended up with quite a graveyard, and it never gets easier. Thanks Tom. We left there 700$ poorer and broken hearted. Sent from my SM-N910W8 using Tapatalk

MattF
Shane, my condolences. Our dogs are family members and treated as such. They are getting old and dread the day that they are no longer with us. My son doesn't know life without them. Black Lab and a Pug.

Coop
Condolences to you and your family. I lost my Lab to some A-hole that took him from the back yard. Hopefully he's still retrieving ducks for someone.

How do you know he didn't run away? Either way, that's terrible coop. Sent from my SM-N910W8 using Tapatalk

Coop
Eh, the gate was open when we got home and even after shooting next to him for three years, we couldn't have run him off if we wanted too. Thanks man!
Woodenskye
Shane, this really stinks. I know what you went through and are going through. When my mastiff got sick and passed, I was in a funk for a few days, and still miss the hell out of her. My deepest condolences to you, your wife and the kids.

Sent from my SM-N910W8 using Tapatalk Hey Shaneymack, that is a really sad story, but I'm glad you came back to share it with us. Say! You need any help naming the new addition to the family? I'm sure we all could make suggestions! The dog is 6 months old and belongs to my wifes niece. For some reason, she thought it would be good idea to buy this dog which will be 120-140lbs in her city appartment. Obviously that isnt working out so she is giving the dog to us. Timing is just perfect. All that to say, her name is Kira and she asked us to keep it as such. She really loves the dog just can't keep it there anymore cause all her neighbours are complaining. Surprise, surprise. Sent from my SM-N910W8 using Tapatalk

It's going to be devastating when she goes. I look at her and get bummed that at 5, she's probably more than half way through her life. On the bright side. Yay mastiff mix I got an english mastiff.

Gixxerjoe04
Sorry to hear about your dog, I had to take my MIL's dog to be put down and helped a friend when he had to take his dog to be put down, cried like a baby at both and didn't even really know the dogs so lord knows how it'll be when my dog passes away.
