Popular Post Coop
I’m starting a collection of masks to remember this crap by, Chick-Fil-A, Whataburger, IHop. Like I need a reminder in my lifetime. We went to our local mom and pop for breakfast this morning and my wife saw me without my mask and questioned it. I told her we have had our shots and I know it feels weird but remember back to the 60’s when you first went braless. She blushed and put her mask on.

I feel 100% normal today.
stevenkingg99
I think there are several reasons. The most common I'd seen that people are scared because you never know whether you'll alive after taking the vaccine or not, your immunity is strong enough to endure the effects of the vaccine if you are above 45+ and suffering from co-morbidities. This reason is what I've heard from closed friends and colleagues and because they lost loved ones after they took 1st dose of vaccine. So, it is this because of why I also thinking thrice whether to take it or not.

JohnG
We’ve had a couple breakthrough cases at work but they have been rather mild in comparison to the unvaccinated cases we have had.

Coop
The nurse that gave us our second shot told us to rub the injection site for a day or so to disperse the medication and it sure helped. No soreness on the second or booster.

Chestnut
I'll be inline to get the booster as soon as it's made available to my social group. As someone who is young, doesn't have health conditions and doesn't work in a critical job it might be a while. It's good to hear the boosters don't have bad side effects. My 2nd shot knocked me out for a good 4 hours.
Mark J
I had no noticeable pain in my arm today or yesterday, nor any other symptoms. But everyone reacts differently.
GetM
I think the vaccine is safe for everyone but you have to keep in mind what kind of vaccine you want to use, because there are so many types of vaccines that in some countries some people under the age of 35 are not being vaccinated. On the other hand, many people have very low immunity (using online pharmacy vitamins is recommended) I think it is very important for them to get vaccinated. However, some people have seen some reactions after receiving the vaccine, although this has not happened to everyone.
Popular Post Tom King
Pam, my Mother, and I got our booster shots yesterday. A little arm soreness this morning, but that's it. Two more of our neighbors died from Covid in the past couple of weeks. Both were unvaccinated, but otherwise seemed in pretty good shape, and not even overweight like so many who have passed have been. No one I know who has been vaccinated has had any illness. I don't know of any that have had immune system problems, so the vaccines can work for them.
Popular Post Tom King
This afternoon, all three of us are feeling kind of slow. I was running chainsaws this morning, but decided to call it for this afternoon. It didn't help that its 71 degrees. I like running chainsaws when its cold. Well worth the little bit of inconvenience, knowing that our immune systems are getting good practice.
legenddc
My wife gets her booster shot next week and I'm the week after when kid #1 goes for her second shot. Thought I might as well do it while I'm working and not possibly ruin a productive vacation day. Wish kid #2 was able to get the shots but he's only 4. Wish they had done it by weight since he's bigger than the average 5 year old but what can you do.
Robby W
My wife and I both got our Moderns boosters. I was really tired the next afternoon, but a long night's sleep took care of that. Similar for my wife. It wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be.
Popular Post wtnhighlander
I got my booster the week before Thanksgiving, and felt pretty crappy the following day. My wife and son, just a little tired. Even so, I feel the protection is well worth the discomfort, especially if it helps me avoid SPREADING this stupid virus.

Mark J
I was hearing on the news today that vaccine demand is up and it's getting harder to get appointments. I don't think the problem is vaccine supply, but rather a shortage of staff, etc.
curlyoak
Boosted by Moderna. Sore arm for a week each time. No biggie.
Tom King
I can't feel any pain at all this morning at the injection site. I can tell it's there if I push on it, but this is two days later, and it's forgotten about, unless I look for it.
Popular Post Mark J
My experience with the Moderna shots was pretty similar to what I experience with the flu shot every year. By the way, I hope you all got the flu vaccine, too.
Coop
I wish I could understand the reasoning behind those that choose not to take and I however, respect their decision. I hope there are enough hospital beds to accommodate these folks, should the need arise, God forbid. My masks are now a remembrance and not a requirement.
