Popular Post ..Kev
First truck (26') arrived today and got loaded today! I didn't catch any video of it as I have about 8 people show up to help me load the shop. Pretty worn out after all that loading! The OF table was the most difficult to get onto the truck! One more smaller truck to load tomorrow and Thursday and then gone on Saturday.

That's the shop (minus the DC, it's in my truck) and most of the boxes from the house. It's also my wife's quilting room. 2nd truck will get the rest of the house stuff. Picked up the truck at 8am and started loading what I could by myself. Help didn't arrive until about 4pm and they made quick work of loading the shop stuff! Finished with that truck a little after 7pm. I did have everything staged though and ready to just put on the truck.
Chet
Yea and I imagine shop tools don't lend themselves to maximizing space in a truck. Kind of hard to stack a cabinet saw on top of a Roubo or vise versa.

wdwerker
Boxes, systainers, lumber etc stack on benches, saws, outfeed tables quite well. Knowing Kev it's packed tighter than Tetris !

I had a few slabs that I didn't let go but, the regular stock stuff I donated to some local woodworkers here.
Llama
Be carful with top heavy items! My drum sander almost dove off the ramp. It looked like a scene from Marcs move. My reaction was to let the movers drop it so I could get a bigger one.

Doesn't look like any damage but, I'll know for sure when I set it up at the new place.
Popular Post ..Kev
One last BBQ with family and friends and then we hit the road for a long travel day tomorrow. Expecting about 14 hours of travel including fuel stops and stops to let the dogs out. I'll gather some footage of the new shop when I get there.. I'll try to get a video out a week from Sunday. 6

Unfortunately, I'll be traveling in a convoy of about 6 vehicles between moving trucks and help and it just won't be easy to make a side trip. As close as you are tho, I look forward to a future visit to your shop! Thanks to all for the well wishes on our journey! I'll get some video of the new shop very soon!
