Popular Post Chestnut
Well i can still move a camera with an injured wrist, so i've been spending more time outside. We had some awesome frosty days. While out exploring my cousin and I came accross some deer that were eating on a fallen oak tree. This is un-cropped and was taken with a 100mm lens on full frame. I was at best 20 feet from this deer and it didn't care at all that I was there. Below was cropped slightly. Normally i have to use a 400mm to get pictures like this....

Popular Post curlyoak
We are getting our severe winter weather. Not like most here. Mid to low 40's with strong winds means wind chill factor of mid to upper 30's. I dress for it and get out. Above is Cattleya orchid that is a hybrid. It is fragrant. There are 2 more buds on this plant that will open in a week or so. This plant is blooming now. It needed protection from the temps so it will be in with a lot of other plants for a couple more days. The plant scent demands your attention. Then it demands you take a close look.

Galway, Ireland Ha'penny Bridge, Dublin Ireland Believe it or not, these 3 are all taken on a Motorola G5 cell phone. I was contacted by the Ireland tourism people asking permission to use these photos in some brochures they were making after I posted them on a Irish Travel forum.

Popular Post Immortan D
I was taking pictures of the moon and on one of them I captured what looks like a shadow on the surface of the moon. It could also be something that got in the way between my camera and the moon, like a bird or a plane, I wouldn't know. I'm posting pics with and without the shadow.
Tpt life
That would be an enormous shadow on the moon. My bet would be something much smaller closer to your camera. Still neat to look at and ponder.

Mark J
Speaking of shadows on other planets The Ingenuity helicopter had it's first flight and took a picture of its own shadow on the Martian surface. Incredible accomplishment.
