gee-dub
Through some mental link that has established over the years, my wife manages to get me just what I wanted, without fail. This year she managed to figure out I wanted a Resaw King for my larger bandsaw . . . thanks dear. Oh, the regular delivery of my wish list prior to gift giving events all these years may have helped too. I'm no mystery.

Popular Post wnaziri
Do presents to yourself count???? After using my current shop for the past 3 years, I have really enjoyed making furniture and want to do more, much more. So, I decided to give myself some presents. All but the sliding table saw have been delivered. I think I have a buyer for my other tools though I may choose not to sell the Northfield jointer, shaper, and table saw. PS: By the way, I blame @Llama for all of this.

Oddly enough, I prefer the Euro guards to porkchop guards. The first jointer I owned was an Inca with a similar style guard. I greatly prefer them for face jointing wide stock. Takes a few practice tries to get the technique, but once you figure it out, much safer IMO. Some people never get used to them and replace them with porkchops. Personal preference, I suppose. Popular Post SawDustB
The incra miter gauge was my big addition to the shop this year. I also got a few odds and ends from my Lee Valley wish list. I'm getting my father's old lathe in the spring, so I also got a face shield and apron.
