wtnhighlander
Best wishes to you and Megan! I know you have anticipated this for a while. One piece of advice from an old married man - never stop working at it. Your relationship will improve like your woodworking has, just keep giving it at least as much effort! 1

Tom King
Congratulations. May the married years be no "different" than those when you were together before. I can't say that there has been any difference between the before, and after here, so I can never understand when anyone says you have to "work" at it. Live long, and prosper!
Popular Post Coop
I work at it every night. Trying to keep my covers on my side of the bed!
Popular Post curlyoak
It is like getting hired. And you are the employee. Now I know why you have been buying so many tools. From now on permission will be required. And not always granted. And all designs must be approved and will likely change before you start. Agree to the above and a successful marriage is eminent. Best of luck!

I have to work at keeping her extra blankets OFF my side of the bed! Congrats! My marriage advice is to ignore 98% of all marriage advice you receive. Nobody else knows what your relationship or situation is better than you, and relationship advice is not universal (other than the few obvious things). Before marriage, our relationship always felt effortless and easy. However, for many reasons I won’t go into here, the “honeymoon” period of our marriage was actually by far the worst period of our relationship. We worked through it and now it is better than we ever imagined and it continues to strengthen and improve.

Chestnut
Thanks everyone Megan & I appreciate all the advice, and sentiments. It was a good night despite the hurdles. The pictures we had taken hopefully are going to turn out great as the weather was perfect. I'll share a picture when we get them back. I didn't take any myself.
