Chestnut
Oh it's an Iowa product.... might have to consider something else. I don't know how i feel about supporting my southern rival . JK That's good to know @treeslayer that they are more or less a local company. That helps a lot in making my decision. I really like that all of the fittings and connections appear to be sturdy brass. I've also noticed that some rental places use these for their rental units. Unless Tom has any drastically negative things to say i'll probably be buying one next week. It's going to be Megan's Birthday gift, more or less as a joke but she has been hounding me to buy a pressure washer for a while.

Tom King
I haven't used it but once. It came with an adjustable fan tip, which I didn't like. I bought a fixed wand to use interchangeable tips, and some tips for the right volume, but haven't tried put water in it yet, this season. It's so small, I carried it in the house last Fall, and it stayed under the piano, for freeze protection. I did carry it back to the shop, last week, but have been busy doing other stuff.

Popular Post jussi
Check out the packing job amazon did for a box of protein bars. Foam lined box with an ice bag inside. Tpt life
Amazon did not pack that. An Amazon fulfillment provider or individual sales partner did.
JohnG
That would have been a MFN (merchant fulfilled) shipment. Amazon won’t fulfill refrigerated or perishable goods. Tpt beat me to it.
Popular Post jussi
A few accessories from micro fence. Including a couple of mounting bars so I can use the guide on additional routers and a piece to allow the circle jig to ride on a festool rail. In the future I’m going to try and make a few more mounting bars for other routers.

Popular Post wtnhighlander
Not for woodwork, and not by mail, but my "Blue Tool" collection grew today. I haven't used a string trimmer in a few years, managing my "trimming" needs with a sprayer. This spring has been extremely wet, such that the 400' of roadside ditch in front of my house has been un-mowable for weeks. Not wanting to simply kill off the greenery, I picked up this 2-piece kit on the way home from work. I chose the 24V model, as I already own a half-dozen of the 2ah batteries. I estimate that I cut 500 square feet of field grass on a freshly-charged 2ah battery. I drained 4 of them (not all charged) before the 4ah battery included with the trimmer charged up. The blower is pretty nice for cleaning out the garage & shop, too. If I used a trimmer all the time, one of the 40v or 80v models would be better, but for infrequent use, this one suits me, and added a battery + charger that work with my shop tools, so win-win. I have to say, these brushless DC tools are so much better than the old NiCad battery tools I started with, it ain't even funny. For those looking to purchase, but without a Milwaukee budget, I would place the Kobalt line on par with Ridgid, at least. Price is typically a little lower, but convenience drove me to Kobalt, as Lowes is the nearest home center. FWIW, I also purchased a Kobalt trim router recently, but have yet to cut any wood with it.

Careful those things can be addicting especially if you do any sculpted work. I bought a couple when I did my sculpted bar stools and now have grown to about a half dozen. 1
Popular Post jussi
Picked this up off Craigslist. Just playing around with it and it seems well built. Folding it up seems a little cumbersome. Will have to check out the vids and instructions to see if I’m missing something. Didn’t come with rail or saw which is fine because I intend to use my festool rail and saw. Just trying to figure how I want to do it. There’s an aftermarket bracket but it’s a little pricey or I can buy a festool bracket and make that work. For now I think I’ll just butt the rail up to the dogs and use them as reference.
Popular Post rainjer
I ordered these clamps a couple weeks ago on Walmart.com. The large ones were $10.50 each & the smaller ones were $4.95 each. They had a "clearance sale" on most of the Kreg tools on Walmart.com. The prices were 50% - 80% for one day. The odd thing is they shipped directly from Kreg...

Chestnut
I got an air hose reel in the mail. So I'd like to mount it up by the ceiling so it's out of the way. Is there any reason why I couldn't mount it in this orientation? Most of the time i see them so the wheel part is up and down like a tire. It'd make more space sense to mount it like this like a pancake for me though. Thoughts?

wtnhighlander
The bearings probably won't last as long, but I doubt you'll notice that in a hobby environment. Better make sure the ratchet mechanism works in that orientation, though.
Popular Post Robby W
I think you would have issues with the hose winding correctly. The weight of the hose would tend to load everything to to the downward side of the reel. 2

Chestnut
Thanks guys. That's more than enough reasons I'll just mount it normal on a post. It shouldn't be in the way much there. I'll need to do a shop thread update as I've chanced quite a bit in there recently.
