I’m thinking about adding some heavy-duty equipment to my woodworking operation and came across a few used excavators on Boom & Bucket. While they specialize in construction equipment, I’m curious if anyone here has experience purchasing from them. The prices seem fair, and they offer a warranty, but I’m wondering about the reliability and condition of the machines. Has anyone used a Boom & Bucket excavator for logging, clearing land, or other woodworking-related tasks? Any insights on performance and durability would be greatly appreciated! -
I figured out to take the case off of the Domino and was able to look at what is going on. The adjuster (73) seems to be crooked as it's sliding in the Main Girder (61). Everything appears straight and no burrs or rough spots where it slides. I don't know if it's because the Connection Flange (72) is bent or out of alignment with the Main Girder (61). I do know that both of those parts are $82-96 each while the adjuster (73) is $7.10. For $17 I have the adjuster being shipped here. If that doesn't fix my issue I will sand the diameter of it down some to see if that allows things to move as they should. Hopefully that will solve my issues, if not, I will have to send it in for service at some point.
