I am both the specialist and a professional. I passed both my Electrical licensing test and Plumbing licensing test in 1975, both with perfect scores. I had worked for an electrician when I was a teenager so had the required working time, and went to Community College night classes to prepare for the tests. When the results for the plumbing test came back, I had them on the dashboard of my truck. There was a young guy who was the county building inspector that had been to the classes with me. He stopped by my jobsite and showed me that he was proud that he had gotten an 88 on the test and said he was sorry that I had trouble with it. I had finished the test and left the room, later to find out I had finished at least 20 minutes before anyone else. The inspector had thought I had given up, and walked out. I told him that I didn't really have any trouble with it. He was very surprised when I pulled the results letter out of my truck and showed him that I had gotten 100 on the test. He was dumbfounded. The main part of the test was to size all the piping in a four story school building on the plans, open book. There was a lab with an acid neutralizing tank that requires a trap before and a trap after. He asked me how I knew how to pipe that lab tank. It had been covered one night in class and I knew none of us had missed any of the ten nights of classes. He was the building inspector for the next 20 years. He'd always stamp my houses without looking at anything, but always wanted to talk about something else. -

What style of doors are you making? Overlay? Inset? Either way make the doors oversize and trim. For a large opening 3/8" difference on the diagonal doesn't sound like much. None of my inset doors are square, not a single one I've made ever. I make them all over size and trim to fit. I've had a 1/2" difference in width on an 18" door disappear. -
There are several out there that many would be satisfied with. Klingspor is a very common disc. They all have something woodworkers will like. I have VSM boxes here that are $55 a box. For a budget stilck with Klingspor. If you happy to Spenser more, but 3M or Mirka..Surfprep is another great brand. Much better than Klingspor. its really hard to do a review of sanding discs unless you have all the sanding discs.. -
$0.50 per disc so $25.00 per box of 50? Holy that's a deal everywhere i see it's closer to $1.00 a disc.
