    • Shucks, I have a dog that does that. There's not a vertical place in my house that he hasn't lifted his leg on. And being the nice guy that I pass myself as, he's now 6 years old! And I go through a lot of cleaner and paper towels!
    • I’ve briefly known folks that get their jollies by pissing people off.
    • What a sad state of affairs the Internet has become. Can't even have a tiny, harmless little WW forum without it being constantly attacked. What could there possibly be gained from harassing this forum???
    • WTO was down briefly at 5:53pm Eastern.  I emailed Marc, and now it's back up.
    • [Oops, this post was supposed to go in my workbench journal.] Flush cut my pegs and cleaned up the glue squeeze out from the long rails. I noticed a couple of the pegs broke below the surface so I applied a little wood putty to smooth things out. Started on the shelf. I'm sandwiching two pieces of plywood under and over a cleat to make a void I can fill with, e.g., sand bags if I decide I want more mass.  Chance to break out the pinch rods. I added a 1/16 shim so I'd have a little play and also moved the rods around to find the tightest spot. The rod just moves right over to the table saw, without the shim, to set the fence and cut the shelf to width. For the shelf length, I used a tape measure since my rods are not long enough. Less fun but good enough. I cut the shelf to length (45") with the track saw. I cut the corners to fit around the legs with a Japanese pull saw and did a little shaving with a low-angle block plane where the plywood was too tight. Bottom of shelf fits. Top part and cleats to follow tomorrow.
